The Savannahian is issuing a retraction and apology for our recent publication of allegations by Mr. Blake Gillman regarding Seacrest Seven, LLC, David Paddison, and their associated project near Forsyth Park.
We disavow any and all express or implicit endorsement of Mr. Gillman's allegations, and we have removed an Oct. 20 story headlined "Is the fix in at Forsyth" from our website and social media to reflect this retraction.
We have also removed all references to these allegations from associated stories that remain published.
We sincerely apologize to Seacrest Seven, LLC and David Paddison and regret the error. We take our responsibility to accuracy seriously, and accordingly we have added a link to this retraction to our other previous coverage of this issue.
