Open Mic Night with the Poetry Co-op 

Want to try out some poetry and embrace your feelings? Join the poetry open mic night this Monday and every Monday at Water Witch. Turtle Tuesdays at the Aquarium 

Every Tuesday throughout June and July, visitors to the UGA Aquarium will have special opportunities to see ambassador turtles up close during feeding, sunning, or soaking sessions! Get a special look at animal husbandry in action as diamondback terrapins, box turtles, spotted turtles, and more enjoy their essential care routines. Don’t miss these unique moments to observe and learn about these incredible reptiles! All ages are welcome, but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Included with tickets, adults $7, children, senior and college students $5. 10-10:30 a.m. UGA Aquarium, 30 Ocean Science Circle. 

First Annual Dyke Prom 

Club One and Dyke Nights come together to present a starcrossed prom night in honor of pride month. Featuring DJ Rachel Machete, Sadhira Sol, Amerys The Empress, Sallie Just Sallie, Ginger Darlin’ and Corbin Monoxide performing. Local vendors, prom photos and refreshments served. Savannah Peach Week

For the third year, Peach Week celebrates Pearson Farms' cherished connections with the local food scene with limited-time, peach-centric dishes and drinks at top restaurants across Savannah. Proceeds from each peachy dish sold benefit CURE Childhood Cancer. Restaurants include Eden Supper Club, Cotton and Rye, Sea Wolf, and more. Dish prices vary. Through June 28. Midtown Farmers Market 

Come check out the new midweek farmer’s market, now moved to pizzeria and brewery Hop Atomica. Vendors include farmers with local fruits and veggies, local honey, local meats and seafood and more. Farmer run, locally-grown, built for neighbors. Free. Food prices vary. 3-7 p.m. 535 E. 39th St. 

Yoga in the Park 

Yoga in the park, due to warmer temperatures. Get your stretch on with free yoga in the park this and every Wednesday with instructor Danette “Dani B.” Bauer. Each class is sixty minutes, and open to all skill levels, with breathwork, inclusive language, physical modifications. Bring a mat, water, make a new friend. Contra Dance with Savannah Folk Music Society 

Contras, squares and waltzes. Come join the fun and share the energy of community dance. Live music by The Glow in the Dark String Band. Dances prompted by callers Bob Beattie and Joyce Murlless. No experience or partner needed. Newcomers welcomed. Come at 7:15pm for a lesson or refresher. Casual dress, comfortable shoes suggested. Bring a water bottle as dancing is quite  aerobics.
