Open Mic Night with the Poetry Co-op
Want to try out some poetry and embrace your feelings? Join the poetry open mic night this Monday and every Monday at Water Witch. Yoga in the Park
Yoga in the park! Get your stretch on with free yoga in the park this and every Wednesday with instructor Danette “Dani B.” Bauer. Each class is sixty minutes, and open to all skill levels, with breathwork, inclusive language, physical modifications. Bring a mat, water, make a new friend. Yogic Meditation
This group is hosted by Carmen and focuses on Yogic style meditation. All participants have the option of a chair or a mat and bolster to sit on, but feel free to bring a zafu/zabutan if you have one you like to use! Each session begins with a short talk on Yoga Philosophy, an explanation of the techniques, then have 10-20 minutes of practice together. All levels are encouraged to come, and chairs will be available. Tickets not required, $5 donation encouraged, but no one turned away due to lack of funds. 6-7 p.m. Cosmic Corner, 305 E. 38th St.

Wexford Irish Music Festival
This Friday kicks off the Irish music festival throughout the weekend! For three days, the courtyard and inside stage will come alive with authentic Irish music, lively dancing, and great craic for the whole family. It’s a festive blend of Irish culture and Southern hospitality! Live performances by: The Byrne Brothers, award-winning Irish family band known for dynamic, high-energy shows, Galway Rogues, local Irish folk favorites Dave Smith, Greg Canady, and Dave Berry, talented regional musicians.
