Lunar New Year Variety Show 

Celebrate Lunar New Year with Tybee Island Maritime Academy at the Tybee Post Theater! Ring in the year of the horse with an exciting cultural variety show showcasing the beauty and traditions of Chinese culture. This vibrant celebration will feature a fashion show, traditional fan dance, musical performances, and more. The evening will also include a special performance by the Dragon Team from Savannah Arts Academy, bringing the energy and pageantry of the Lunar New Year to life. Join us for a festive, family-friendly event filled with color, music, and cultural celebration as we welcome the New Year together! 25th Annual New Beginning Youth Art Exhibition 

The New Beginning Youth Art Show annual juried exhibition brings together talented students from SCCPSS schools and features over 80 pieces of artwork. The opening event, starting at 6pm, will include an award show in Ben Tucker Theater, the chance to see the artwork in the gallery, and light refreshments. Join us as we celebrate these amazing young artists! Presented by the Savannah (GA) Chapter of the LINKS, Incorporated, Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools and City of Savannah Cultural Resources in partnership with the Savannah Black Heritage Festival. Collage Night at Superbloom 

Join the fine folks at Superbloom cafe for their weekday craft night with collage! It’s a free and fun way to connect with your friends, family, community, and creative side. Wonders of the Wurlitzer 

Visit Savannah's most historic movie palace for a theater tour and demonstration of its original 1925 Wurlitzer theatre organ. In honor of the Lucas Theatre's recent restoration, visitors can explore the theater's storied past as they listen to the sounds of the organ and enjoy the SCAD-produced silent short film 'At Long Last.' Free. Tours begin at 11 a.m. and the organ demonstration starts at 11:30 a.m. Lucas Theatre, 32 Abercorn St.

Savannah’s Endangered African American Landmarks: Lifting the Stories of Historical Nicholsonboro Baptist Church and LePageville Memorial Cemetery 

Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF)- the leading nonprofit cultural institution dedicated to saving the buildings, places and stories that define Savannah’s past, present and future- will host an informative, engaging lecture titled “Savannah’s Endangered African American Landmarks: Lifting the Stories of Historical Nicholsonboro Baptist Church and LePageville Memorial Cemetery” as part of the Historic Savannah Foundation Lecture Series, “The People, Places and Stories that Define Savannah.” Guest speakers Kathy Thomas, executive director of The Friends of Historical Nicholsonboro Baptist Church, Inc., and Pat West, retired Savannah State University English professor and member of the LePageville Board of Directors since 2016, will share under-represented stories in Savannah’s historical narratives in observance of Black History Month. 3rd Thursday Art Show: Abandoned

SABROSA at Savoy Society 

Sabrosa is a pop-up experience created by Jomar Santos and Miss Paradise, bringing you an original cocktail menu featuring Bacardi - La gran Familia portfolio of spirits and an unforgettable night dancing together to a Miss Paradise DJ set with sounds from across the tropics in Savoy Society. Carnegie Library Heritage Center Ribbon Cutting 

Live Oak Public Libraries will reopen the historic Carnegie Library on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:30 AM, following renovation and restoration. The Library, originally opened in 1914 with funding from local African American Savannahians and the Carnegie Corporation, is reopening under a new name, the Carnegie Library Heritage Center, to preserve and celebrate its powerful legacy. Through museum-quality exhibits, oral history recordings and interactive displays, the Center will honor the library’s role as a beacon of knowledge and community empowerment. Arthouse Cinema: Marty Supreme

Academy Award nominee Timothée Chalamet stars in "Marty Supreme," a bold, kinetic portrait of a fast-talking New York City dreamer, hellbent on turning an overlooked sport into his personal springboard to glory. Director Josh Safdie ("Uncut Gems") brings his signature adrenaline-charged style and emotional heft to this globe-spanning epic. The result, is a fresh, fun,full-throttle thrill-ride journeying from the Lower East Side to London, Paris, Tokyo, and the Great Pyramids and back. Potable Gold: Savannah’s Madeira Tradition 

Experience the unique and flavorful fortified wine and hear how it intertwines with the history of Savannah, as a port city and a center of hospitality. Mid and late 19th century Savannahians, Ward McAllister and William Neyle Habersham, will be linked to Madeira and Madeira parties. The program is a 75-minute experience that provides an overview of what Madeira wine is and its connection with Savannah. Participants should be able to stand as well as walk up and down stairs. Contra Dance with the Savannah Folk Music Society 

Contras, squares and waltzes. Want to get moving but find exercising too hard and too dull? Maybe you should go for a spin Contra dancing! It’s fun, it’s aerobic, and it’s filled with great people you should know. Every dance has live music, a caller to guide you through the moves, and a beginner workshop to teach you everything you need to know. Live music by Glow in the Dark String Band. After Dark House Party at Ships of the Sea 

A perfect outing for friends, a date, or out-of-town guests to experience the historic Scarbrough House bathed in the warmth and charm of midwinter. Guests can wander softly lit galleries, linger in cozy corners, and discover maritime treasures glinting in the lowlight. Sip craft cocktails, mocktails, wine, and beer from the cash bar while local favorite DJ Jimmy Butcher spins a curated mix of tunes creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Artist Kristopher Maedke-Russell unveils an immersive light installation that transforms the museum into a luminous landscape. $22 general admission. 7-9:30 p.m. Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, 41 MLK Jr. Blvd.

5th Annual Starland Renaissance Fair 

Into the renaissance? The Starland Renaissance Fair is back for another year of renaissance flair. Join Starland Yard, Siamese Dreams Vintage, Superbloom, Two Tides Brewing, Starland Strange, and One for the Road in celebration! Costumes highly encouraged. Expect entertainment, artisan’s markets, and food and libations. Free, drink and food prices vary. 4th Annual Savannah Black Art Expo 

This event will feature arts vendors, performances by local talent, delicious food trucks and concessions vendors, fun workshops, and more. New this year: a collage workshop with artist Nancey Price, a Hip Hop dance workshop with choreographer Christian Cooper, and as a special event for kids – a children’s book reading with author Nina Rickenbacker Edwards, Ed.D. Plus, the first 100 attendees will receive a free Savannah Black Art Expo branded tote bag! Arts workshops are free with day-of sign-up required. Black History Month Town and Hall and Cultural Experience 

Color Of Change, in partnership with ASALH Savannah Yamacraw and the Savannah Black Heritage Festival, will host a Black History Month Town Hall & Cultural Experience as part of the National Day of Cultural Legacy. As part of the day’s programming, Color Of Change will sponsor free admission to the Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum, expanding public access to one of Savannah’s most important civil rights institutions. The evening Town Hall centers the importance of telling true Black history responsibly and highlights the role of museums and cultural institutions when schools face political constraints. The event features A moderated panel on history and museums, a 45-minute featured address by Dr. Tonea Stewart, a keynote address by writer and cultural critic Marc Lamont Hill, cultural performances and spoken word, a Black-owned vendor fair, and intergenerational participation from students and families. Wild Seed Market – Season Kickoff at Savannah Hydroponics & Organics 

We’re kicking off the Wild Seed Market season and can’t wait to welcome you back for another year of community, creativity, and local goodness! Upcycling with Embroidery Workshop 

Give new life to old textiles! Learn how stitching can transform everyday items into personal works of art in a creative upcycling workshop led by local artist Shaye Galligan of Savannah-based studio The Markers Guild. Ideal for beginners and experienced embroidery artists, this workshop will offer guided instruction in simple embroidery techniques that can be used to refresh, repair or embellish clothing and accessories. All embroidery materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring a favorite garment, tote bag or textile to work on with Shaye’s assistance. $30/person for Historic Savannah Foundation members | $25/person for non-members. 1:30-3:30 p.m. Historic Kennedy Pharmacy, 323 East Broughton Street.
