Open Mic Night with the Poetry Co-op 

Want to try out some poetry and embrace your feelings? Join the poetry open mic night this Monday and every Monday at Water Witch. Tongue: Open Mouth and Music Show

Reception for Limited Palette by Locals 

Please join White Whale for the Artist's Reception! Limited Palette by Locals is a group show featuring local Savannah artists who were asked to complete a (painting) using only three colors: Cobalt Blue, Pthalo Green and Cadmium Red Medium - black and white were also permitted. Come see how each artist has utilized the limited palette in their own unique way with style, subject and technique varying greatly, yet all together presenting as a collection with the uniformity that comes from using the same colors. Yoga in the Park 

Yoga in the park! Get your stretch on with free yoga in the park this and every Wednesday with instructor Danette “Dani B.” Bauer. Each class is sixty minutes, and open to all skill levels, with breathwork, inclusive language, physical modifications. Bring a mat, water, make a new friend. Yogic Meditation 

This group is hosted by Carmen and focuses on Yogic style meditation. All participants have the option of a chair or a mat and bolster to sit on, but feel free to bring a zafu/zabutan if you have one you like to use! Each session begins with a short talk on Yoga Philosophy, an explanation of the techniques, then have 10-20 minutes of practice together. All levels are encouraged to come, and chairs will be available. Tickets not required, $5 donation encouraged, but no one turned away due to lack of funds. 6-7 p.m. Cosmic Corner, 305 E. 38th St. 

Paint along with Bug Ross

Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Picture Show Live 

Anticip….ation. The cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show is back! Asbury Memorial Church Pride Service 

Join Asbury Memorial Church for a LGBTQ+ centered church service. It promises to be an evening of celebration, solidarity, and sacred belonging. The Pride service invites LGBTQ+ individuals, allies, families, and friends to come together in a spirit of love and acceptance. Attendees will join in lifting their voices and hearts with a community choir, alongside guest speakers and musicians from across Savannah. The service will feature stories, songs, and resources that uplift LGBTQ+ people and families, fostering a spirit of inclusion and joy. Free. 6:30 p.m. Asbury Memorial Church, 1008 E. Henry St.

26th Annual Savannah Pride Festival 

Help the LGBTQ+ community celebrate pride in their beautiful community as they take over the Forsyth Park lawn with music, art, connection, and fun! Featuring a host of vendors including food trucks, small businesses, and non-profits! Each year Savannah Pride is thrilled to offer something a little different for Pride attendees in The Haunted Hostess City. Whether you plan ahead for each theme or just show up, the Savannah Pride Festival is bound to bring fun for the whole family! Free. 12 p.m. Forsyth Park. 

20th Annual Wag-o-ween 

Wagoween is back! Savannah's annual trick-or-treat event for dogs is celebrating 20 years in 2025! Dress up with your favorite 4-legged friends and humans and trick-or-treat at Savannah businesses from the Riverfront to the Starland District! In Pulaski Square be sure to stop by their official photobooth to join the contest, grab a shirt and raffle ticket, and sign up for the Wiener Races (and wannabe wiener races open to ALL dogs)! Vendors and rescues are located in other downtown squares. Wag-O-Ween supports all participating local animal rescues and shelters from the surrounding counties- support their efforts and meet some of their adoptable dogs while you collect treats! Funds raised also support the Sara Portman Community Fund, which focuses on community spay and neuter efforts, education, and keeping wanted pets in homes. Wag-O-Ween is organized by the nonprofit rescue, Renegade Paws Rescue, and local woman-owned business, Locally Made Savannah. Tickets available at wagoween.org ahead of time and at Starland Yard and Pulaski Square both days of the event. $12. 12-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Downtown and Starland District.

Shop local from farmers you can trust! Find your fruits and vegetables with peace of mind from local farmers. Hit up the Forsyth Farmers Market for your local fresh produce and goods from rotating farms and vendors. Be prepared to see everyone you know and their mother-in-law. Get some flowers along the way. Mutual Aid Sharing 

Join the Savannah Democratic Socialists of Savannah (DSA) for a mutual aid sharing of food, clothing, hygiene products, and more. Stop by to donate or help yourself to something if in need. Reach out to them via Instagram @dsasavannah. Free. 3-5 p.m. on the corner of Waters Ave. and 37th St.

Scary in the Dairy 

Join the community at the Historic Roberds Dairy for the most authentic Halloween celebration in Savannah: SCARY IN THE DAIRY! Enjoy Haunted Hay Rides, penny games, cake walk, bouncy house, food and fun. Without a doubt, there are horse rides, on the amazing equestrian staff of Pegasus Riding Academy, which benefits from this event. Sea and Sky Family Day at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum 

Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum will host a special Family Day inspired by the museum’s new art exhibit, “Beyond the Plate: Sea and Sky,” which features original work by Rob Strati, one of America’s hottest contemporary artists, and will offer a variety of hands-on, creative activities for children of all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a range of art projects that reflect the themes and styles of Strati’s collage-inspired mixed-media work. Additional event highlights include face painting, sidewalk chalk art and maritime-inspired activities. This family-focused event is made possible through a special collaboration with community partners, including Deep Center, Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, King of Pops, Loop It Up Savannah, Savannah Children’s Museum, Savannah State University,

Spooky Sundays at Smol Bar 

Spooky Sundays are back! Beat the Sunday scaries by checking out Smol Bar every Sunday in October, they’ll be featuring Halloween-themed slushies, seasonal coffees, snacks, and more. This Sunday’s film screening is “Casper”. 7 p.m. Free. Smol Bar, 2421 De Soto Ave. 

Food Not Bombs in Savannah 

Into mutual aid, cooking, and sharing meals? People could use a good meal now more than ever.
