The Art of Character: Highlights from the Glenn Close Costume Collection 

Into Glenn Close, costume design, and art in general? Check out Telfair’s newest exhibition open now at the Jepson Center and running until February 15, 2026. Glenn Close is an iconic award-winning American actress with a career spanning five decades. Her collection contains over 800 pieces and is a must see this Fall. General admission is $30, students $20, children $10, and includes admission to the Telfair Academy and the Owens-Thomas House. Museum is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. 207 W. York St. 

Open Mic Night with the Poetry Co-op 

Want to try out some poetry and embrace your feelings? Join the poetry open mic night this Monday and every Monday at Water Witch. Cello Mania with Amici Music 

Into classical music? Come listen to the sounds of South African cellist Jacques-Pierre Malan and pianist/Artistic Director Daniel Weiser. Both musicians bring a passion and excitement to their performances that produce some wonderful sparks and amazing music. They will perform virtuosic works by Paganini, Martinu, and Piatti, plus the beautiful Faure Elegie, and the very lyrical, but unfairly neglected, Chopin Cello Sonata. Yoga in the Park 

Yoga in the park! Get your stretch on with free yoga in the park this and every Wednesday with instructor Danette “Dani B.” Bauer. Each class is sixty minutes, and open to all skill levels, with breathwork, inclusive language, physical modifications. Bring a mat, water, make a new friend. Riverfront Concert Series featuring The Intracoastal Playboys 

Enjoy live music overlooking the Savannah River! Presented by Savannah Stopover Music Festival and Eastern Wharf, this free, family-friendly concert will showcase The Intracoastal Playboys, a rising country band with a gritty edge that’s defined by honky-tonk influences and unmistakable alt-country swagger. Bring lawn chairs and blankets and grab a bite from the food trucks on-site, including Ark Royal Burgers, Bow Tie BBQ, Mexicali Fresh and Jonny Boy Cookies, or enjoy food and drinks from Eastern Wharf favorites like Squirrel’s Pizza and bar by fleeting. Historic Savannah Foundation Lecture Series: "Discovering Savannah's Municipal Cemeteries, Past and Present" 

Of the nearly 80 cemeteries located in Chatham County, the City of Savannah maintains six cemeteries, including Bonaventure, Colonial Park, Evergreen, Greenwich, Laurel Grove North and Laurel Grove South. Part of the 2025 Historic Savannah Foundation Lecture Series, "The People, Places and Stories That Define Savannah," the City of Savannah's Archives

Director and History Officer Luciana Spracher will discuss the development of Savannah’s public cemeteries and trace historic burial grounds through archival maps and records, sharing insight into the unique features that define Savannah’s municipal cemeteries. Free for Historic Savannah Foundation members, $15 per person for non-members. Wine reception at 5:30 p.m. The lecture will start at 6 p.m. Murray C. Perlman and Wayne C. Spear Preservation Center in the Historic Kennedy Pharmacy, 323 E. Broughton St. 

Yogic Meditation 

This group is hosted by Carmen and focuses on Yogic style meditation. All participants have the option of a chair or a mat and bolster to sit on, but feel free to bring a zafu/zabutan if you have one you like to use! Each session begins with a short talk on Yoga Philosophy, an explanation of the techniques, then have 10-20 minutes of practice together. All levels are encouraged to come, and chairs will be available. Tickets not required, $5 donation encouraged, but no one turned away due to lack of funds. 6-7 p.m. Cosmic Corner, 305 E. 38th St.

No Kings Rally 2.0 

Join other community activists in Savannah to stand together against the Trump regime, no crowns, no thrones, no kings. The Coastal Democracy group is collaborating with the Young Democrats of Chatham County for this rally, and also includes their new chapter president and speaker Ja’Quan Oliver. Free. 1 p.m. Emmet Park, on the corner of Bay and Broad St.

Shop local from farmers you can trust! Find your fruits and vegetables with peace of mind from local farmers. Hit up the Forsyth Farmers Market for your local fresh produce and goods from rotating farms and vendors. Be prepared to see everyone you know and their mother-in-law. Get some flowers along the way.
