Audacious is a multimedia art exhibition celebrating the work of LGBTQIA+ artists presented by the city of Savannah Cultural Resources Department in partnership with the Savannah Pride Center. Do you make art and are LGBTQIA+ ? This is the last day to submit art to be shown during Savannah’s pride month in October. Zine Workshop with Savannah Queer Collective 

Join the Savannah Queer Collective for a zine making workshop. Zines are miniature magazines, meant to be low cost or free, easy-to-distribute, and accessible to everyone, the appeal as an art and information sharing medium. Zines can be about anything, and they encourage self expression. No need to bring anything other than yourself, or bring old magazines or stickers to share. Yoga in the Park 

Yoga in the park! Get your stretch on with free yoga in the park this and every Wednesday with instructor Danette “Dani B.” Bauer. Each class is sixty minutes, and open to all skill levels, with breathwork, inclusive language, physical modifications. Bring a mat, water, make a new friend. Letter Writing Night to ICE Detainees with DSA 

Support people detained by ICE at the Folkston detention center by joining the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) with Through Prison Bars for a letter writing night to share words of encouragement and hope to those facing detention and isolation. Letters are a simple but powerful way to show solidarity and remind those that they are not forgotten and their community stands with them. Yogic Meditation 

This group is hosted by Carmen and focuses on Yogic style meditation. All participants have the option of a chair or a mat and bolster to sit on, but feel free to bring a zafu/zabutan if you have one you like to use! Each session begins with a short talk on Yoga Philosophy, an explanation of the techniques, then have 10-20 minutes of practice together. All levels are encouraged to come, and chairs will be available. Tickets not required, $5 donation encouraged, but no one turned away due to lack of funds. 6-7 p.m. Cosmic Corner, 305 E. 38th St.

Since the beginning of time, stories have connected us, inspired us, and helped us make sense of the world. Join Dreamhouse Studios for a two hour interactive workshop where you’ll explore the timeless power of storytelling and learn how to apply it in your everyday life. Through hands-on exercises and simple frameworks, you’ll: Discover why stories stick in our minds. Practice easy structures to craft memorable stories. Castles and Flames/Guardians and Gardens: The Historic House of Ireland 

With the lush Irish countryside as a backdrop, Jamie Credle, Director of the Green-Meldrim House, will unravel the complicated stories of the remarkable survival of Ireland's castles and manor houses, surrounded by their parklands and estates. She will also unveil another intriguing part of the story - that of the efforts put forth by a determined group of tenacious men and women, who are the protectors of these historic treasures.
