EASILY Savannah’s greatest single cultural success story, the Savannah Music Festival marks its 37th season with another standout collection of visiting artists, hitting town March 25-April 5, 2026.
Tickets are on sale now here.
The next edition of the Festival expands to include several new venues, including the Regina Coeli Hall at The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist, the Oglethorpe Ballroom at The Desoto Savannah, the Neises Auditorium at Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center, and four shows at Victory North.
Highlights of the large-scale shows at the Lucas Theatre include Pat Metheny’s Side-Eye III project (March 27, pictured above), Old Crow Medicine Show playing their first two albums to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary (April 3), Larkin Poe (March 25), and Richard Thompson with Muireann Bradley (March 26).

The Trustees Theatre will host a special program to close the Festival on April 5, to celebrate what would have been Miles Davis’s 100th birthday the following May.
Global roots music remains prevalent at SMF in the 2026 season, including Brazilian music duo Alessandro Penezzi & Mike Marshall, Ivory Coast Afropop star Dobet Gnahoré, a Latin Dance Party with Puerto Rican ensemble Plena Libre, Irish music from Reverie Road, Quebecois band Le Vent du Nord on a co-bill with Scottish supergroup Breabach, and Moroccan-NYC collective Saha Gnawa.

Festival faves The Infamous Stringdusters appear March 27 at Victory North, and the Yonder Mountain String Band March 28 at Ships of the Sea.
Artistic Director Ryan McMaken remarks, “This 12-day celebration of live music will be a joyous one, featuring more than 20 SMF debuts alongside notable artists returning with new projects. We are honored to present some of the world’s greatest in roots music, classical, and jazz.”
