ERIC BRITT
WED OCT 21 | 6 PM | JAZZ’D TAPAS BAR

If you’ve lived in Savannah for more than 30 minutes, you almost certainly know Eric Britt. Britt has been a solo singer-songwriter locally for many years, but before that was the frontman for the beloved Athens band Hazel Virtue, which toured across the southeast in the 90s and garnered a ton of buzz in the process.

These days, Britt plays regularly across the city (there’s almost never a chance to miss him) but also hosts tribute shows throughout the year including the now-regular Carnival of Sorts R.E.M. tribute shows at Victory North and Tybee Post Theater.

If you can make it to Jazz’d Tapas Bar on Wednesday, you certainly won’t regret seeing Britt in his element, delivering emotive acoustic rock as good as anyone you’d see on a national stage.

APOSTLE + THE MAXINES + LORD CARRION + PALMETTO SLUG
FRI OCT 23 | 8 PM | THE WORMHOLE

Atlanta’s Apostle just released their latest album, A Splinter in the Infinite Noumenon, which is an album that makes a phenomenal case for heavy music in 2026. Its hardcore and grindcore influences are apparent, while the guitar work is clever, melodic, and bruising. They’re making the trek to Savannah for a show at The Wormhole on Friday the 23rd.

On the bill is The Maxines, who in a handful of short years has become hands down one of the best bands Savannah has to offer. Pulling from classic rock, metal, punk, and melodic rock influences, The Maxines make real, live rock music for people who really love real, live rock music.

Also playing is local hardcore band Lord Carrion and improvisational sludge metal duo Palmetto Slug.

EMBER CITY
SAT OCT 24 | 9 PM | BARRELHOUSE SOUTH

Local rockers Ember City, featuring married couple Sarah Poole (vocals and bass) and Ryan Taito (guitar) have been making fantastic music and playing phenomenal shows in town and beyond for many years. Their original music has always been as palpably emotional as it is smart and hook-filled, and they haven’t let up over the years.

You’d be hard pressed to find a better Saturday show downtown, so if you’re in the area you won’t regret checking out this hard-hitting power trio.

JUPITER COYOTE
SAT OCT 24 | 7 PM | COACH’S CORNER

Jupiter Coyote has been a mainstay in the jam band circuit for nearly 40 years, selling more than one million albums and playing thousands of shows in the process. If you’ve never seen a Jupiter Coyote gig, you’re in for a treat. A delicate balance between bluegrass, funk, and traditional jam band sensibilities, their songs are tailor made for audiences who love to immerse themselves in roots sounds and compelling performances.

Led by guitarist Matthew Mayes, the band has seen a few lineup shifts over the years but has never lost its signature sound or magic. Coach’s Corner is a perfect setting for what’s sure to be a captivating set of American roots and jam music.

JD SIMO + LUTHER DICKINSON + BLACK JOE LEWIS & THE HONEYBEARS
SUN OCT 25 | 7 PM | DISTRICT LIVE

Two virtuosic guitars are joining forces at District Live. JD Simo, known for his work with Dolly Parton, Jack White, and The War & Treaty, comes together with the iconic Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars, The Black Crowes) to play songs from their 2024 album Do The Rump and much more from their respective careers.

Joining them on the gig at Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, the Austin-based blues and soul band that has been making records for Universal Motown and Lost Highway Records for two decades now. It’s sure to be an incredible night if you’re a guitar lover.
