Turtle Tuesdays at the Aquarium 

Every Tuesday throughout June and July, visitors to the UGA Aquarium will have special opportunities to see ambassador turtles up close during feeding, sunning, or soaking sessions! Get a special look at animal husbandry in action as diamondback terrapins, box turtles, spotted turtles, and more enjoy their essential care routines. Don’t miss these unique moments to observe and learn about these incredible reptiles! All ages are welcome, but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Included with tickets, adults $7, children, senior and college students $5. 10-10:30 a.m. UGA Aquarium, 30 Ocean Science Circle.

Midtown Farmers Market 

Come check out the new midweek farmer’s market behind Sixby and Lone Wolf Lounge. Vendors include farmers with local fruits and veggies, local honey, local meats and seafood and more. Farmer run, locally-grown, built for neighbors. Free. Food prices vary. 3-7 p.m. 222 E. 41st St. 

Yoga in the Park 

Yoga in the park, due to warmer temperatures. Get your stretch on with free yoga in the park this and every Wednesday with instructor Danette “Dani B.” Bauer. Each class is sixty minutes, and open to all skill levels, with breathwork, inclusive language, physical modifications. Bring a mat, water, make a new friend. The Disappearance of Miss Scott 

Jazz virtuoso and screen superstar Hazel Scott was the first Black American to have her own television show. An early civil rights pioneer, she faced down the Red Scare at the risk of losing her career and was a champion for equality. This PBS American Masters film is presented by the Hindsight Film Festival, The Better Angels Society (Ken Burns Prize for Film) and CinemaSavannah. A live Q&A with Emmy award winning director Nicole London will immediately follow the screening. Free. 7 p.m. Savannah Cultural Arts Center, 201 Montgomery St.
