Bikewalk Cycle Social Downtown 

Join Bike Walk Savannah each month for a casual, family-friendly bike ride at a different spot in Savannah or Chatham County. This month they'll meet at the Sentient Bean for a ride around downtown Savannah. Lights and helmets required. Please bring your bike and water. Ride distance is approximately 5.5 miles. Train Rides in May 

Into trains? Here’s your chance to take a ride on one! Take a short train ride with Savannah’s Georgia State Railroad Museum Wednesdays through Sundays in May! Train rides are hourly 10AM-3PM (10AM, 11AM, 12PM, 1PM, 2PM, and 3PM ) Train ride tickets are on a first come, first served basis. Schedules are subject to change, please call ahead. Combination Green-Meldrim House and St. John’s Church Tour with Refreshment on the Porch 

Enjoy a tour of the Green-Meldrim House and St. John’s Church. Both the Church and House are in the Gothic Revival style, offering a study in mid-nineteenth century architecture, urban planning and aesthetics. The Combo Tour will focus on how their uses and interiors have changed and been adapted over the years. Following the tour, refreshments will be served at the Green-Meldrim House “a la tea party style.” Patrons will enjoy local favorites on the porch overlooking Madison Square. IMPACT Vol. 5 No. 1 Launch Party

Join ARTS Southeast to celebrate the release of IMPACT Arts + Culture Magazine Vol. 5 No. 1 at Laney Contemporary! IMPACT Magazine is Savannah’s only publication dedicated exclusively to arts and culture. Designed as a highly visual, full-color, 9×12” glossy magazine, each semi-annual issue showcases some of the most compelling artists, writers, and cultural voices working in the South today. Each edition features in-depth artist interviews and long-form writing on art, culture, and identity, alongside poetry, fiction, comics, music and film reviews, and more. Thursday Night Skate at the Park 

In the mood to roll around on skates? Come skate with the 912 Skaters Coalition every Thursday at Lake Mayer Skating Rink! All levels welcome. Friday Feeding at UGA Aquarium 

Every Friday, guests can witness mealtime in the aquarium as marine educators feed a variety of animals. Learn fascinating facts about their diets, behaviors and feeding techniques while watching marine life enjoy their meals. All ages are welcome, but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Friday Feeding programs are included in the cost of admission to the UGA Aquarium. Peter Pan Goes Wrong Play

Join the SCAD School of Film and Acting for their Spring show! Brace yourselves for an awfully big adventure when the inept and accident-prone Cornley Drama Society set out to present J.M. Barrie’s much-loved classic tale of Peter Pan, their most audacious production to date. What ensues is two acts of hysterical disaster, battling technical hitches, flying mishaps and cast disputes. The Madhatters: Tribute to Tom Petty 

Formed in late 2020 in Atlanta, GA, The Mad Hatters, while touring extensively, have quickly become the premier Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers tribute act. Join them for a unique true crime murder mystery dinner show event that is very different from a typical murder mystery experience. Veteran’s Open Studio 

This studio program provides a calm, open approach with guidance in drawing and painting by an experienced instructor and is open to all veterans. No prior experience making art is needed. This program provides studio space for artists to work independently, but with an instructor available to provide guidance when requested.
