Open Mic Night with the Poetry Co-op

May the 4th Celebration: Star Wars: Attack of the Clones 

The galaxy is on the brink of civil war and thousands of solar systems threaten to break away from the Galactic Republic. During his mission to protect her, Anakin Skywalker finds it hard to conceal his love for Padmé, the former Queen of Naboo, as his own dark side begins to emerge. Soon, Anakin, Padmé, and Obi-Wan Kenobi are drawn into the heart of the Separatist movement and the beginning of the Clone Wars. This screening features a photo booth, specialty concessions, and other fun surprises. Small Business Week Mixer 

Celebrate Small Business Week at Savannah’s largest collaborative networking event. The Small Business Week Mixer brings together entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders for an evening of connection and conversation. Hosted by the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Business Association, the Hispanic Chamber, and Savannah’s Waterfront, this mixer reflects the strength and diversity of the local business community. Combination Green-Meldrim House and St. John’s Church Tour with Refreshment on the Porch 

Enjoy a tour of the Green-Meldrim House and St. John’s Church. Both the Church and House are in the Gothic Revival style, offering a study in mid-nineteenth century architecture, urban planning and aesthetics. The Combo Tour will focus on how their uses and interiors have changed and been adapted over the years. Following the tour, refreshments will be served at the Green-Meldrim House “a la tea party style.” Patrons will enjoy local favorites on the porch overlooking Madison Square. Opening Reception of “In Place” 

Join Parker Stewart and Laney Contemporary for their opening reception of “In Place”. Separated by time but connected by place, photographers Parker Stewart and the late Jack Leigh capture landscapes and communities in the outer reaches of coastal Georgia and South Carolina. Laney Contemporary’s Jack Leigh & Parker Stewart: In Place brings their work together for the first time in Savannah, this spring and summer. Co-curated by Stewart and gallerist Susan Laney, In Place is the first time Leigh’s photos have been shown alongside a living photographer working in the same tradition, and the first exhibition of Leigh’s work in nearly a decade. Thursday Night Skate at the Park 

In the mood to roll around on skates? Come skate with the 912 Skaters Coalition every Thursday at Lake Mayer Skating Rink! All levels welcome. Paint Along Night with Bug Ross! 

Paint along with your favorite mellow artist, Bob Ross! Our beertender, Bug, will walk you through your own little happy art night. Farm Friday at the Children’s Museum 

Visitors have an opportunity to explore their Frogtown Garden and learn about a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs that are growing. Ask for a sample of the Farm to Table snack of the day. Contra Dance 

In the mood to Contra dance? Glow in the Dark String Band will play the tunes! Callers Bob Beattie and Joyce Murlless will prompt the action! 11th Annual SLAM Savannah Local Artist Market *Rescheduled Date!* 

This season’s event will be the 11th market - 8 years since its inception! The annual market will feature over 80 local and regional artists across a variety of different mediums including visual art, textiles, photography, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, mixed media, and much more. The SLAM Community Canvas will take center stage, inviting everyone to leave their creative touch. Don’t miss your chance to make your mark! Veteran’s Open Studio 

This studio program provides a calm, open approach with guidance in drawing and painting by an experienced instructor and is open to all veterans. No prior experience making art is needed. This program provides studio space for artists to work independently, but with an instructor available to provide guidance when requested. Veterans also participate in occasional tours of major exhibitions at the Museum. Free and open to veterans only, no museum admission necessary. 1:00-4:00 p.m. Jepson Center, 207 W. York St. 

Tybee Ballet Theatre's Student Spring Showcase 

Experience a celebration of artistry and dedication at Tybee Ballet Theatre’s 2026 Student Spring Showcase. This performance is the culmination of a year of training, discipline, and artistic discovery. From the youngest dancers to the Junior Company, every student takes the stage to share the results of their tireless hard work and passion. Night Market and Movie Night 

Head to Wilmington Island for a night of family fun! The festivities start at 4:30PM with a night market, games, a kid zone, food trucks and much more. Renegade Paws Rescue Puppy Yoga

This event is about connection, compassion, and giving these sweet dogs a chance to find their forever homes. Savannah Cyclofemme Ride 

Ride together with Bike Walk Savannah on Mother's Day for the 13th Annual Savannah CycloFemme. The ride will be approximately 5 miles and be great for beginners, commuters, racers and everyone in between! Everyone is welcome. They'll depart from Bike Walk Savannah HQ. SCAD Museum Free Days 

The SCAD Museum of Art welcomes the Savannah community to enjoy FREE ADMISSION on the second Sunday of every month.
